The Junior Development League provides a clear, professionally delivered development opportunity for young footballers in NSW which underpins the National Premier League NSW Men’s and Women’s Competition.

DEVELOPMENT
LEAGUE
ouR mjdl PROGRAM
At the Sutherland Strikers, we divide the Mixed Junior Development League (MJDL) players into two teams, ensuring an equal balance of early-year and late-year birth dates – with June as the midpoint. This approach promotes a more equitable distribution, avoiding the common practice of concentrating stronger players on a single team.
The program is non-competition based but provides players with an opportunity to play other highly skilled players across NSW.
